(2024.02.24) Dinner at "Sumi Kakoi" located at Otowa intersection, Chikushi exit of Hakata station. It's a shame that the seat we had at was unsettled due to arguments between the staff, but after two appetizers, we had dinner. The ``Kujukushima mackerel tetsuhiki'' and the ``rice bowl rice with homemade salmon roe'' served as a closing meal were delicious. There was a counter seat and a raised table seat around it...I was guided to the table seat, but it was lively with customers talking and staff talking with each other, so I decided to sit a little more calmly. I asked for a seat in the back, but was told that it was fully booked. As the two of us don't drink alcohol, the restaurant said, ``For those who want to enjoy their meal slowly.'' I received the ``Luxury Course.'' After receiving the clam soup soup, pickled cucumber and wakame Vinegared dish, and ``2 appetizers,'' I was offered ``Mackerel Tekuhiki'' and ``5 Types of Assorted Sashimi.'' Not to mention... The mackerel from Nagasaki and Kujuku Islands had a lot of fat and had a sweet taste, and the sashimi with 5 types of mackerel, bluefin tuna, sea bream, Japanese rockfish, and octopus was also fresh. I was able to feel the flavor of the grilled Nodoguro, and the flavor of the seared Nodoguro was brought out by seasoning it with salt.We continued with “Blowfish Sashimi,” “Sautéed Red Bean Liver and Furofuki Radish,” and “Charcoal-grilled Ara.” I was disappointed that the furofuki radish was still so hard that I couldn't put my chopsticks through it, and the stock wasn't soaked in enough, but the grilled red bean liver was delicious...it's delicious not only as sashimi, but also delicious boiled or grilled. The charcoal-grilled ara had a nice salty taste, and I was also satisfied with the firm and elastic texture that came from being grilled. And then there was the “sea bream and wakame shabu shabu” and the “Miyazaki wagyu skirt steak with dashi Steak.” ” I was able to enjoy the crunchy texture of the wakame seaweed, which instantly turned from brown to green when soaked in the dashi stock, and the aroma of the ocean...I also enjoyed the Steak, which was soaked in the dashi stock and still had a strong taste of salt and pepper. The meal was delicious. The deciding factor for choosing this course was the ``rice in a clay pot with homemade salmon roe'' and ``ara soup.''It was served in a clay pot that was smaller than I expected, so I was worried that it wouldn't be cooked properly. However, the rice that the staff prepared for me was cooked fluffy, and the flavor of the soup stock was also good... With plenty of Nodoguro meat and plenty of flavor, it was a masterpiece that did not disappoint. For dessert, I had the cheesecake from Kosael, which is popular as a cheesecake that goes well with coffee, made by a barista. It was moist and I could feel the flavor and umami of the cheese...I was able to enjoy it deliciously, but if possible, I would like to have it with coffee. It was something I wanted to try.The mackerel was served separately, so it didn't look as good as it looked, but it was satisfying to be able to enjoy the delicious fish, including the high-quality fish such as ara and black throat. It was a great course
