It's the oldest store in Fukuoka, so I wanted to go there at least once. This is the only Japanese building in Nakasu surrounded by a large wall, so I think you can easily get there. When you enter through the gate, you will walk through a large garden along the stone pavement to the entrance. I was shown to a large 8 tatami room. Unfortunately, it was dark and I couldn't see the garden. Luxurious ingredients such as chinmi dried sea cucumber ovaries, spiny lobster, and abalone. It was a little early for the season, but stonefish also appeared. The bowl was generously filled with koze, and it wasn't a pure Japanese dish, but a slightly Western-style dish with lobster and cheese. Overall the taste is strong. Both sweetness and saltiness. Once in a while, it's nice to have a relaxing meal at a seat like this. It seems like there are counter seats (and the seats are probably cheap), so you can feel free to use them. I think I'll try going during the daytime when I can see the garden next time.
