This time, I went to Chikae Main Store. This is a Hakata restaurant that was founded in 1961. This restaurant was built by renovating the house owned by Fukuoka's coal mining magnate, Tokumatsu Nakajima, and when you visit it, it's impressive from the outside. Furthermore, when you enter the store, you will be surprised to see a magnificent fish tank in the middle that is 12 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 1.2 meters deep. More than 30 types of live fish caught from all over Kyushu are always on display, and the staff in yukata (Japanese kimono) serve customers in a wonderful atmosphere that will please your eyes, ears, and palate. This is a store that will give you a high level of satisfaction just by visiting it. I visited for lunch, but there was only one lunch set menu. This is very cost-effective and luxurious. Fresh sashimi, Tempura, and a variety of Small dish. Free refills of the crushed mentaiko! In particular, the miso soup with crab was very delicious and had a great flavor that soaked into your body.
