福岡には毎年行きます。福岡ではこの大塚と田中田には必ず行きます。まるで義務のように（笑）
この店は漫画「美味しんぼ」にも登場していて作者の雁屋さんもよく見えるそうです。廊下に「美味しんぼ」のイラストが飾ってあります。
ここでは大体「あら鍋」の一番目か二番目に安いのを注文します。
ここは相撲茶屋なのでちゃんこ鍋もありますが、私はこの店でちゃんこ鍋を食べたことがありません。きっと美味しいのでは無いかと思います。
あらという魚は、関東ではモロコとか呼ばれる巨大なハタ科の深海魚です。白身魚で絶妙に脂がのっていて美味しすぎる。今までの経験上、大きいほど脂があって美味しいと思います。
刺身はポン酢ともみじおりしでいただきますが、これを食べるとフグさしに興味がなくなります。
最後の締めの明太子といただくスープ雑炊はとても幸せです。
