平日の夜、事前にネットで予約をして伺いました。
大名の細い路地を奥の奥まで進み、こんな所にお店があるのだろうかと不安になる頃、お店がある2階への階段が現れます。
一歩店内に入ると、そこには焚き火(？)を中心とした広々としたカウンター席が広がり、薄暗い照明も相まって、何だか別世界に足を踏み入れたような不思議な気分。
席に着くと、店員さんが肉の玉手箱(？)を開き、オススメの食材について説明してくれます。
お料理は熊本の馬刺しと、宮崎の熟成和牛のステーキをお願いしましたが、どちらも美味しかったです。
ただ、もちろん良いお肉を使われているからでしょうが、量に対してお値段はちょっと高め？
お酒の品揃えも豊富で、私は飲む気満々だったのですが、友人の酔いが回って早めに退店することになり、せっかくのお料理を残してしまって申し訳なかったです。
店員さんはカウンター越しにさりげなく話しかけてくださったり、外国人のスタッフさんたちも一生懸命頑張っていて、好感の持てる接客でした。
今回は頼みませんでしたが、お肉以外にも気になるメニューが沢山あったので、また近いうちにお腹を空かせて突撃したいです。ごちそうさまでした。
