天神から南に歩いて20分、西鉄平尾近くのジビエ料理を中心としたお洒落な居酒屋。
オーナーの実家やその周辺のネットワークを活かし、福岡のジビエを取り揃えているのが特徴。
ジビエの5種コースでは鳥から鹿やイノシシまで幅広いお肉を楽しめる。圧倒的な鮮度の鶏肉、臭みが全くなくきめ細やかな食感を楽しめる鹿肉が美味。猪肉のつくねは赤ワインと合わせるのがベスト。単品ではやまめの稚魚の踊り食いや鯉の刺身など、貴重な食の体験ができる。フードは蕎麦で〆るのを推奨。
アルコール類も幅広く充実しているが、とりわけワインのラインナップが豊富。味の強いジビエとのマリアージュは相性が良いであろう。
民家を改装した店内はオープンテラス風のテーブル席のほかにオーナーとの会話も楽しめそうなカウンター席もあり、常連そうな一人客の楽しむ様子も見られた。
26時までの営業というのもはしご酒が好きな人にはありがたい。天神とは異なりエッジの効いた隠れた名店が多いこのエリア、ジビエをつまみとしながら深い時間まで食と酒を楽しめる貴重なお店。
