I had some business around Hakata Station that day. I got a little tired of KITTE, so I decided to look for something at the nearest station, Ropponmatsu. I went to a restaurant in the mood for Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), but I was turned away. I wondered why... it's still during the manned prevention period, so the restaurant itself is open until 8 p.m. It was already past 7:30 p.m., so I was turned away from three restaurants in a row, and when I finally visited this restaurant, they let me in on the condition that I order all at once (no additional orders allowed). "Thank you." First, I had a beer, a highball, and two non-alcoholic beers in one go. Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) is 100 yen per stick. A set of seven Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) okamase skewers and a set of three selection rolled vegetables. The vegetable rolls were lettuce, shiitake mushrooms, and were delicious and filling. My family ordered individual dishes, including pork belly, tsukune, a rare white sardine, and four-piece meat... They asked me if I wanted salt or sauce for each skewers. When Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) were done, they were arranged on the plate one by one, and in no time we were full. The chicken skin in particular was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, and the second drink was brought out at just the right time. The udon was also brought out at the time I wanted. This udon has even been featured on local TV, so I had some expectations. I had some expectations for the "Goboten Udon" that was featured on TV. The noodles were somewhere between Sanuki and Hakata, with a good firmness, and the broth and about six burdock roots were crisp and delicious! I was surprised to be able to get such high-quality udon at Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). The udon alone might be worth it.
