I wanted to grab a bite to eat instead of a big meal, so I visited Hanayu, which I had seen on my walk. The location is about a 10 minute walk from Ohori Koen Station, a little north of the Max Value Minato store, and towards Kamome Hiroba. It seems that the store that was originally in Nishijin has moved here to Minato. The signature menu is ``deep-fried cooked chicken thighs,'' so I ordered that and potato salad first. The appetizer is soaked Kintoki grass. It was my first time having it, but it was a light seasoning. The potato salad came first, so I crushed the egg yolk on top and enjoyed it. The taste of eggs goes well with potato salad, so mix them evenly. "Fried fried chicken thighs" arrived just as the potato salad was running low. There were two large pieces of fried chicken on top, but the seasoning was light and the taste was a little different from what I expected. The fried chicken itself is delicious, so it's just that it wasn't what I expected. The price for appetizer + 2 dishes and bottled beer is @1920 yen. It's neither cheap nor expensive.
