The Seafood restaurant "Zauo" is located on the north side of Ohara Beach, a beautiful beach of clear blue sea and white sand and blue pine trees that represents Oda and Hakata in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City, along the shore near the "Sea Fishing Park". Founded in Showa 61 as "Restaurants Harbor House". In Heisei 5, it became "Japanese-style meal ・ Zayu", and it became a popular restaurant as an "experience-type" and "entertainment-type" restaurant with a "hands-on" and "entertainment-type" fun, fresh fish delicious with a seat like a floating boat in a large cage in the store, and a novel system in which customers themselves cooked and served live fish from the cage to their liking. So much so that there are imitation stores in Japan and abroad. At one point, more than 10 restaurant shops were opened in Fukuoka Prefecture alone. Currently, we have 3 restaurant in Fukuoka City, 10 restaurant outside the prefecture, and 1 restaurant in New York, USA. By the way, JR Hakata City's "Kashiwaya Genjiro", Hakata Deitos' "Marutoku Cafeterias", and Solaria Stage's "Mama Fish" are sister stores. This main store is located in a remote place in terms of transportation environment, but for banquets of 15 people or more, a free shuttle bus is also available, which is convenient. ☆.。.:*・゚☆.。.:*・゚☆.。.:*・゚☆.。.:*・゚☆☆.。.:*・゚☆.。.:*・゚☆.。.:*・゚☆.。 This time, Watakushi received a complaint from JD of Wagaya that he wanted to practice driving a car for the first time in a long time, and drove on the Itoshima Peninsula with the guidance of a passenger. On the way, we stopped here for dinner. This is the first visit for both Watakushi and JD in more than 10 years. In addition to the front of the store, there is a spacious parking lot opposite, so even JD, who is a beginner driver, can easily park. Like! I arrived around 18:30 on a holiday, but I entered the store without waiting. There are tatami seats, table seats, and counter seats that can accommodate 6, 8, 16, and 40 people, and all of them have a panoramic view of the sea. Nice! The clerk guided us to the counter seat by the window. Far beyond the pitch-black sea, you can see the lights of "Fukuoka Tower" and the city of Hakata. You can't see the clear blue sea, so the view is better at noon. This main store was renewed in Heisei 16. Currently, it seems that there is no "fishing experience type" here, but instead you can enjoy "BBQ" while looking at the sea, and a "Oyster hut" is set up in winter. In addition, although it is a reservation system, there is no change in the "experience-type" and "entertainment-type" fun shop, such as "Sushi craftsman experience". If you look at the menu, you can see that there are plenty of set meals, but I want to try Iloilo, so I will play a single item. I asked the clerk who brought me a hand towel and warm oolong tea for "abalone bowl ¥1580", "Oyster fried rice ¥680", "sardines sashimi ¥480", and "draft beer (medium) ¥500" while leaving the driving to JD. JD chose "Tempura (small) ¥500", "sesame mackerel ¥780", "sea bream miso soup ¥300", and "white rice ¥200". Shibui! (laughs) "Raw" that was brought immediately and JD toasted the safety of driving with "oolong tea"! Soon, the ordered items were served in the Samidare style. Watakushi's main "abalone bowl" is a thin abalone sashimi spread on a generous amount of white rice, and hot spring eggs and chopped seaweed are on top. It is served with large leaves and plenty of wasabi. Sprinkle with a separate plate of "miso-based sesame sauce". This sauce has a fragrant sesame flavor, and the miso has a sweet taste! It seems that you can go as many cups of white rice as you want. The abalone is from Itoshima, which is brought to the Kitasaki fishing port right next to the shop. It's small, but needless to say, it has a high-quality texture. Excellent! Next was "Oyster Fly". An exquisite dish that condenses the flavor of raw oysters while leaving a milky feeling. It was freshly fried and crispy and served with tartar sauce, but the lemon drizzle was enough. "Sardine sashimi" is full of fat. It is served with sweet soy sauce, but the fat floats on the surface of the soy sauce. Umasa with a thick but not persistent fat. All the items I ordered are not missing. Satisfied, satisfied. JD ordered "Tempura" There are five types of "shrimp", "mackerel", "carrot", "pumpkin", and "shishito". "Sea bream miso soup" is a horseshoe that I'm glad I ordered without being stingy. Hakata's specialty "sesame mackerel" was first served as "sashimi", then as "sesame mackerel bowl" on white rice, and finally "dashi soup ¥150" was ordered and eaten with "sesame mackerel chazuke". Even though he is young, he is "connoisseur". When I looked inside the clay jar of dashi soup, I saw that it contained sea bream. Full-fledged. JD commented, "I'm full, I'm a chazuke pane." It was delicious. Yokatta. I was also full, and I gave up on the "Kitasaki chicken pudding ¥200" that I was talking about having dessert at the end. The two of us had a full stomach and the bill was 5170 yen. Even though I even got abalone, it was super reasonable. After all, Fukuoka is the best! It was a feast. 【19.2.10】 [24.2.3] ☆.。.:*・゚☆.。.:*・゚☆.。.:*・゚☆.。.:*・゚☆.。.:*・゚☆.。.:*・゚☆.。.:*・゚☆.. 79-6 Oda, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka TEL.092- 809-2668 Business hours・11:30~22:00 Regular holidays / irregular holidays
