A female staff member of my choice is standing in the store during our customary walk. Well, my preference is usually small and fair-skinned.... But I was not touting for her. She didn't seem to be touting for customers, but when I asked her if she had any set menus, she told me about the menu on the wall and told me about the Sushi and sashimi dishes. Since I had talked to him, I decided to stop by. When I entered the restaurant, the female staff member standing in front of the store also had to stay inside, so maybe I was being punished by having to stay outside until they called for customers? It was a pretty hot day. As usual, I was running out of patience to use the restroom, so I just ordered the "sea bream aradaki 880 yen" and borrowed the restroom. It was a clean restroom, but the water basin for washing hands was small, maybe 20 centimeters square, so you had to be careful if you didn't wash quietly. I had to be careful to wash my hands quietly. The lady staff brought an appetizer (sweet potato Tempura) for 400 yen. It was a sweet sweet potato and delicious. I was in the mood for a set meal, so I ordered two more dishes from the rice menu: "thickly sliced mackerel battera (800 yen)" and "ara-jiru (soup with arabesque fish) (400 yen). The customer sitting next to me ordered "Toroi Eel Furai 850 yen," which looked very tasty, but I didn't want to order the same thing while looking at it, so I chose "Shiromi Tenma no Yasai Dashi Ankake 850 yen" from the daily special menu. The battera was enough for six pieces. There was no kelp, which I like, on it, but yuzu pepper and a small lemon cut into pieces were on it. The menu name says "thick cut," but I thought the battera at the kaiten sushi restaurant I often go to was thicker. But the one at the kaiten sushi restaurant is called "BATTERA," but it looks like Matsumae Sushi. I think I'll have the "homemade seared conger eel on a stick sushi" for 900 yen next time. The bowl of arajiru soup was small, but the miso flavor was strong, which I liked. I definitely want to try it again next time. The sea bream aradaki was probably made to order. The flavor was elegant and very tasty. This is also a must-try if you can find it. And the white fish tempura with vegetable broth sauce. Tempura was fluffy white fish with vegetables and a warm, flavorful sauce. The "Toroi Eel Fish Fry" that our neighbor was eating looked delicious with a lot of homemade tartar sauce. Also, if you see the staff standing outside for punishment (I hope it's not such a black restaurant!), please be sure to ask them for help. I will stop by as a savior when I see the staff standing outside again.
