福岡の井尻駅界隈には小箱の店が多く立ち並ぶ。夜の姿はいかにも西鉄沿線といった姿だ。
いわゆる居酒屋が多いのもこの街の特徴で、あまり多彩な顔は持っていない。
駅界隈に店が集中しているのもまた特長で井尻駅界隈から井尻六ツ角交差点を過ぎると、パタリと店が途絶えてしまう。そんな六ツ角から福岡女学院方面へ進み、高速の高架をくぐって100mほどのところに店がある。駐車場は店の前に2台、近くの駐車場に数台程度。表向きは白塗りのおしゃれな装い。
とにかく肉、魚の新鮮さ、歯ごたえの良さがこの店の特徴。盛り付けひとつひとつにしても目を楽しませてくれる。季節毎のメニューも旬を逃さない品揃えとなっている。駅から遠く離れたこんな場所にこんな店があるというのが驚き。
焼き鳥一本にしても食べ応えのある量。下ごしらえの良さが感じられる。
難はオーダーしてからテーブルに届くまでの時間か。ま、この味なら我慢出来る。
座敷に座る時には気が付かないが、カウンター席では匂いに注意したほうがいい。壁に衣類を吊るそうものなら数日は匂いに悩まされる。
味はいい、が、ちょっと一品一品の料金が高めかなぁ。酒もも少しバリエーションが欲しい。
