土曜日（4月8日）のお昼は懸案だった東インドベンガル
料理の専門店にお伺いしました。
車で旅行していないので行きにくいので、
グーグル先生のアドバイスで、西鉄大橋から
西鉄バス42系統に乗り、昇町公民館で降りると
なぎの木通りの反対側にお店があります。
11:41分に到着、店頭にはメニュー板があり、
「ナンありません」との貼り紙も。
店内は、カウンター4席とテーブル4卓、個室もあるよう
ですね。開店直後ですが先客はカウンターに2人、
テーブル席に4人いらっしゃいました。
カウンター席にどうぞと案内され、メニューを拝見
ランチタイム限定ベンガルターリー Bengali Thaliは、
・Non-Vegetarian Thali ノンベジタリアンターリー が
¥1500 (税込 ¥1650)、
・Non-Veg Special Thallが¥2000 (税込 ¥2200)、
・Non-Veg. Ultimate Thali アルティメットターリーが
¥3000 (税込¥3300)
の３種類です。
せっかくなのでアルティメットターリーをオーダー
６種類のカレーに揚げパンのルチ、デザート付きです。
ただしかなりお待たせする場合があるとの注意書
夜のメニューもご覧くださいとディナーのメニューを
渡された。
夜はビリヤニがあり、事前予約すればランチタイムでの
提供も可能とのこと。
25分ほどでターリー（大皿）が登場
ご主人から説明があった。
きゅうりとにんじんのサラダ、レモンはサラダやカレーの酸味足しにしてください。
ミントのチャツネ、じゃがいものクリスビー揚げ、
ほうれん草の炒め物
カトリは時計回りに、
ムング豆（緑豆）のスープ、
ミックス野菜のシチュー、
エビのクリーム煮、
ナマズのトマト煮、
丸鶏のスープカリー、
骨付きマトンのスパイシーカリー、
真ん中にバスマティライスとパパド、
別皿に揚げパンのルチ、
食べ方にルールはないが、小皿を全部出して、
東インドには混ぜる習慣がなく、左から時計回りに、
軽い物から重い物になっているので、少しずつライスに
かけて、吸わせるようにしてお召し上がりください。
揚げパンがしんなりしてしまうので、熱いですが
揚げパンからカレーに付けて召し上がってください。
早速小皿を外に出して、揚げパンのルチをスープや
カレーに浸して食べた。揚げて膨らんでいるので薄いが
脂のコクがあり美味しい。
ムング豆のスープや野菜のシチューは優しい味で、
エビのクリーム煮はクリーミーで海老の旨味たっぷり。
ナマズの煮物も臭みはなく美味しい。
チキンとマトンのカリーは骨付き肉がゴロリと入り
ボリュームがありスパイシーです。
それほど辛くはないが、スパイスで発汗しますね。
デザートは極細玄米パスタのバーミセリのミルク煮
とのこと。
美味しかったです。次回は夜におじゃましたい。
帰りを検索すると、1つ北の昇町いきいきプラザ前から
バスで南福岡駅へ行けることが判明。
バスの本数も少し多く、このルートが便利です。
T・ジョイ博多で観ようと思っていた「オオカミ狩り」
に間に合います。
