During the day, I was running around to curry shops, but I would like to have Japanese-style meal banmeshi with my family at least once during my trip home. While thinking about this, I tried to make a reservation at [a:40000029, Seimonwari] near Kushida Shrine, but it was already full at 5pm on the day I wanted to go. I thought it was a bit of a problem, but maybe I should go somewhere other than the Tenjin area once in a while. So, I was drawn to everyone's reviews and decided to make a reservation at this one, which is fairly close by. Route 68, near Shimenishi Elementary School. I was told that they open from 5:30pm, so I visited at the opening time. I'm thankful that the store has a free parking lot...! This restaurant seems to be directly managed by a seafood company called ``Fresh Fish Shop Taiken Suisan,'' so I have high expectations for the fish. Perhaps due to the painted art inside and outside the store, it has an exotic atmosphere. The store is quite large and can accommodate about 50 people. While enjoying the delicious braised pork, this is how I ordered the dish on this day. - Assorted sashimi - Wasa - Extra-large salt-grilled shrimp - Jidori-yaki - Teppanyaki yam - Uni bowl -Onigiri rice ball - Kubota soba (cold tea soba with hot spring egg and yam) The sashimi is delicious. The deliciousness of the sea urchin is especially irresistible. The unique taste of the sea urchin bowl may be the first time I have ever eaten such a delicious sea urchin bowl. I had never thought that grilled rice Onigiri were delicious, but this restaurant's sweet and salty flavors were exquisite. The bill was about 13,000 yen for 4 people, including main meals and light drinks. Every time I went back to Fukuoka, I took my family to Japanese-style meal in the Tenjin area, and it was the first time in a while that my family said, ``I want to go there again.'' I can't believe there's such a delicious restaurant nearby (although it's impossible to walk there). I thought this is what it means to be dark at the base of a lighthouse. Next time I would like to try the sea bream chazuke as well. The sea urchin bowl and grilled rice Onigiri are so delicious that I think they will come out in my dreams soon. (2013/11)
