After entering the restaurant, I took off my shoes and sat down. The restaurant was relatively spacious, with counter seats and private rooms. There was a hearth at the counter seats, which gave it a warm feeling. The restaurant seemed to be very busy with local people. I thought it had more of an atmosphere of a high-end Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) than a Japanese Cuisine. I think one of the reasons for this is that they don't start all at once. It was a space that made me want to relax and chat with friends, family, and lovers, rather than visiting alone. From each seat, you could see the cooking scene right in front of you, so it felt like a live performance and I enjoyed it. The chef was a calm and polite person. He explained each dish. It was a course that allowed me to enjoy the charm of Kyushu using all Kyushu ingredients. Each dish was served with a simple taste of the ingredients. The dishes and pottery used in the cooking were impressive. They were all beautiful and interesting to look at. I could feel the owner's playfulness and attention to detail. Thank you for the meal. ◼️"Course Contents"◼️ Mugwort tofu, bamboo shoots, wakame seaweed, clams, sardines, whales, spiny lobsters, abalone, young matsutake tomatoes, seaweed noodles, bamboo shoots, Japanese pepper oil, kinome miso, sardines, soup, roast beef, pickles, karasumi and small sardine rice, kinome, miso, rice crackers
