モノレールの香春口三萩野駅からほど近い国道3号線の昭和町交差点を黄金商店街の方に折れて約150メートル、北九州都市高速の高架の先のペットショップ角を右折して50メートルほどの場所の路地裏にあるお店です。
小料理屋さんのような佇まいで、平日のランチタイムには「お食事処」と書かれた青い幟が立ち、「本日の日替定食」が書かれたスタンド看板が置かれています。
平日ランチがお得なお店との情報を得たので、平日のお昼前11:45に訪問しました。
この日の「日替定食」は、豚カツ・大根煮物・たこの煮物・わけぎの酢味噌和え・煮どうふ・フルーツ・ご飯・みそ汁・漬物・コーヒーで600円という驚きの安さです。
左に5席のカウンター、右の小上がりに6人用のテーブル2卓、正面奥にも座敷があり、数卓のテーブルが置かれていました。その先には庭が見えます。
先客は小上がりに男性客1人だけでした。
店のスタッフは、女将さんと息子さんと思われるお二人だけのようでした。
カウンターの手前の端に座るとすぐにお茶とおしぼりが用意されました。
「日替定食」を注文しましたが、何も言わなくてもランチメニューは「日替定食」だけのようです。
注文して僅か2分で、梅の花をあしらった大きな松花堂弁当箱とご飯と味噌汁が運ばれてきました。
松花堂は6つに区切られ、小鉢や小皿に乗った料理が少しずつ並べられています。
これを見ただけでも600円とは思えない充実振りに驚きました。
それからすぐに、メインの豚カツが運ばれてきました。
豚カツは、4片にカットされて、豚カツソースがかかり、キャベツとニンジンの千切りが添えられ、ドレッシングがかかっていました。
衣はカリっと香ばしく揚がって、揚がって時間が経ってないようで、温もりが残っていました。
衣との密着はよく、ロースにはよく火が通っていました。弾力のある柔らかさはないですが、しっかりとした肉質で厚みもあり、ジューシーな旨みのある豚カツで美味しかったです。
大根煮物は、薄味ながら柔らかく煮込まれ、鶏肉が添えられ、家庭的な手作り感のある美味しさでした。
たこの煮物は、すりゴマがふられ、コリコリとした歯応えと弾力感があり、味もよく染みて、お酒のおつまみに合いそうな感じでした。
わけぎの酢味噌和えは、さっぱりとした味付けで、シャキシャキとした食感もよく美味しかったです。
煮どうふは、薄味のとろみのついたつゆに浸かり、湯豆腐のようでしたので、卓上のポン酢をかけて、美味しくいただきました。
漬物は、かぶの浅漬けでした。
ご飯には黒胡麻がふられていました。
ご飯のお替りもできるようでしたが、遠慮しておきました。
みそ汁は、エノキとちくわ麩と青ネギが入ったシンプルなものでした。
フルーツは、リンゴが付いていました。
食べ終えた頃を見計らって、コーヒーが運ばれてきました。
風味のあるコーヒーで、美味しかったです。
これだけの品数のお料理が600円とは、良心的過ぎる値段に恐れ入りました。
接客も丁寧で、落ち着いた雰囲気のお店で、充実した内容のCP高いランチがいただける隠れ家的なお店です。
