さて、北九州市にあるクラフトビールといえば門司港地ビールですね。確か20年以上前に飲んだことがありました。その頃はあまり地ビールが得意ではなかったんですよね。今ではどんな物があるのか興味津々。
開店と同時に入店です。
ペールエール
苦味、香りともに柔らかい印象。
サマーヴァイツェン
柔らかでスッキリ。日本酒で例えるならクセのない濁り酒のような感じ。
飲み比べ。左からヴァイツェン、サクラ、ピルスナー
ヴァイツェン
これは昔うちのじいちゃんが飲んでた瓶ビールの王冠を匂った時の香りに似てます。やや金属臭に似た懐かしい日本のビール本来の香りに近いかもしれない。それとは裏腹なフルーツを思わせるような飲み口。
サクラ
穀物の香ばしい香りがありとても味わい深い。
ピルスナー
周波数が高いというか、飲んだ後で舌の根のあたりがキュッと反応します。飲みやすいようで苦味が意外と強い感じかと。
耳納あかぶたのロティ
これは付け合せのマッシュポテトなども美味しいですね。豚自体の脂の良さもありつつ肩ロースの旨みもあって美味しい。マデラソースも濃厚な感じで美味しいと思います。
スモークサーモンサラダ
これはもう、間違いようがないですね。美味しい。
ビールは全体的におとなしめな印象です。
食事もしつつ地ビールを楽しめる良いお店ですね。
