[3 minutes walk from Kokura Station] Enjoy a set meal made with love by mom for just 500 yen ♪ Popularity is increasing through word of mouth!
Mama no Mise was started with the idea of "wanting people to eat their fill of food cooked with love by mom." It is located on the first floor of Rico Hotel, a 3-minute walk from the south exit of Kok |
I stayed at the Rico Hotel when I was on a business trip to Kokura. I booked it because it was cheap and in a good location, but the person at the Kitakyushu office where I was on a business trip was surprised and said, "You're staying in a place like that!?" The photos of the room were quite ordinary and even too grand for me, but when I visited, I understood, it was a super public bath town. Ten years have passed since then, and I heard that a snack shop has opened on the first floor of the hotel, but it is only open during the day, so I have not been able to come here for a while, and this time I was exhausted from choosing lunch, so I visited it in anger. I had heard that the curry was delicious, but the eat-in space was pitch black and there were people who looked like construction workers. I changed my target to a ready-made thing because it was cheap and I was lucky to get one review (lol). There was bread, but I prefer rice, so I chose Onigiri balls. They were a little thick and heavy. They had takana leaves, but they were not spicy. I was very satisfied with the price. To be honest, compared to Onigiri at 7-Eleven, I feel like... but I was more interested in spending my money at a proper store like this than in the high quality achieved by exploiting workers. By the way, there is no photo of the exterior because the staff of the nearby public bathhouse are out of the picture (lol).
