2023年5月15日、小倉にオープンした「39」は、「PEPE」「SUMI光月」「鉄板MOTTO」のグループにして、旦過復興屋台村の発起人であり旦過火災で焼けてしまった、かの「焼鳥39」の名を満を持して冠した居酒屋店 。だいぶ前から出店情報は聞いていたが、開業があいにく月曜日で。最近酒を控えており週末しか飲まなくなっているのでオープン数日後の訪問となった。
メニューは「焼鳥39」に近いが居酒屋寄りかな。多少の増減はあるが。あとは酒の種類が増えているかも。焼酎も日本酒も種類が増えて、コダワリのある人も満足行きそう。
焼きの腕もまったく衰えを感じさせない相変わらずハイレヴェル。肝はもとよりささみも良い具合のレア。よほど肉質に自信がないと出せないだろう。皮も変わらずカリッとしている。
食べてはいないがコロッケも、以前と同じく「チーズinマヨネーズon」の、いわゆる「いしやん」スタイルで、初期からの「焼鳥39」ファン感涙だろう。聞き忘れたがニラ玉も同じかも。
とにかく、「焼鳥39」ファンで閉店を悲しんだ方はマストで来ていただきたい。そうでなくとも前より好立地になったので新規のファンも増えることを願っている。
電波の通りが悪いところは玉に瑕だがそのうちWi-Fi入ることを期待。
