北九州市戸畑区新池。
この日は家族で5人で食事。チョイスしたのは前々から気になっていたこちらのお店。
メニューは熊本直送馬刺しを中心とした熊本郷土料理とその日仕入れた旬の食材を使った料理の二本柱。熊本郷土料理は熊本馬刺し・自家製辛子蓮根・山ウニ豆腐・桜なっとう・馬ホルモン味噌煮込みなど。その日仕入れたメニューは日々別紙に書かれる。生ビールはパーフェクト黒ラベル。ハイボールはデュワーズ。日本酒や焼酎は別紙。
今回はお造り五種盛り・グリーンアスパラバター・鴨鍋・寄せ鍋・そら豆あみ焼き・馬刺し四種盛り・うどの天ぷらをオーダー。ドリンクは瓶ビール『赤星』と焼酎『三岳』をチョイス。
お造り五種盛り。タコ・本マグロ・真鯛・ぶり・生うに・活アワビ。六種なんだがあまりに美味くてどうでも良くなった。超新鮮。
馬刺し四種盛り。赤身・ふたえご・こころ・たてがみ。しっかり食感があってこれぞ馬。この馬刺しはかなりレベルが高い。
グリーンアスパラバター。アスパラがなかなか太い。嫌な筋とか苦味とか一切ない。美味い。
そら豆のあみ焼き。そら豆の旬の匂い。それだけで酒がススム。
うどの天ぷら。サクサクに揚がった天ぷら。うどの苦味がたまらん。
鴨鍋＆寄せ鍋。どちらも出汁が美味い。具材もたっぷり。面白い具材も入ってる。量的には2人前～3人前かな。
大人の隠れ家。酒と肴どちらにもこだわりを感じる居酒屋。
