Remarks |
Every year in July and August, we do not accept reservations for any tables, regardless of whether it is a weekday or weekend. |
This is the second largest eel restaurant in Fukuoka Prefecture. There is also a branch in Kokura, but the one in Kurosaki has a higher score. Looking at other people's reviews, it seems that Kokura and Kurosaki are quite different. I was planning to go there at least 30 minutes before opening to make a reservation, but I couldn't leave Shiroya Bakery in Kokura, so I ended up arriving 15 minutes before opening. But luckily I was able to get in at the first guidance ^ ^ Well, what should we do with the menu? I wasn't thinking properly. If I wanted to compare it with other restaurants, I would have to go for the unagiju, but the owner's recommendation is the kabayaki set meal. It is certainly understandable that it is better not to add weight when grilling locally. Unaju or kabayaki set meal. However, bamboo steamer is also a popular menu item and looks delicious. Fukuoka is also famous for bamboo steamer steaming. Hmm, put all of that together... I decided on a combination of steamer steaming (bamboo, 5 slices), 3,400 yen, and shirayaki (pine, 3 slices), 1,900 yen. It's a waste to save money because it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! That's right, this store has the pine and plum colors reversed ^ ^ ◆Shirayaki It's topped with Japanese peppercorns and gray green onions. The eel has a crispy surface and is soft and fluffy. Perhaps because this fatty part is strong, you can feel the viscosity. Salt, wasabi sauce, maple soy sauce? You can enjoy it in 3 different flavors. Also, you can expand the variety of flavors by adding real Japanese pepper to your mouth. Salt with sharp edges is considered to be very good salt. I guess the order of my favorites is salt → grated maple leaves → wasabi sauce. ◆ Steamed in a bamboo steamer Steamed in a bamboo steamer to make it soft and fluffy, but the surface still has a slightly browned feel. The finish is so gentle and delicate that it almost falls apart. The rice is steamed in a steamer basket and soaked in sauce, making it so chewy and delicious that you can't help but scream. Probably in the top 5 eel restaurants of all time. Senmaizuke is also delicious! Don't use Narazuke for the pickles you put on the eel lol.The restaurant had a great atmosphere, including the customer service. This is a store for an older age group. New evaluation standards (reviews that do not include this are old standards) 5 points = Hall of Fame 4.5 points = I want to go back to eat even if it is far away 4 points = I want to go again and again 3.5 points = Level to go again 3 points = If I have the chance I will go 2 points = I don't think I will visit again 1 point = I will definitely not go there
