In order to ensure seats available without reservations, we are limiting seat reservations to 4 to 5 tables during the day and at night. Remaining seats will be allocated in the order of arrival. 帰省のついでに食べ歩き。黒崎駅からふれあい通りを徒歩5分ほど歩いた黒崎4丁目交差点そばのうなぎ店。田舎庵は小倉で昭和元年に創業の北九州を代表するうなぎ屋さんで、当店は平成3年にオープン。
小倉本店と並んで'18〜'22うなぎ百名店受賞店。
事前予約は不可とのことながら店員さん曰く「おそらく予約されんでも大丈夫ですよ꒰ ∩´∇ `∩꒱」とのことなので、とある日曜日18時半頃にえいやーとお邪魔してみる。確かに。先客2組。席にはまだまだ余裕あり。
店内は静かで落ち着いた雰囲気。改装したばかりなのかな？内装も新しめで清潔感があり居心地は頗る良い。僕は鰻重の松、母はせいろ蒸しの松をそれぞれ発注。
20分ほどで着丼。
関西風に炭火でじっくりと焼き上げられた脂の乗ったうなぎ。蒸されていないのでパリッとした仕上がりで、噛むたびにぷりんとした弾力と脂が弾けるような心地よい感触を味わえる。ねっとりとした甘い脂とあっさりとした甘辛いタレと炭の香ばしさが相俟って、口の中はお祭り騒ぎ٩( ᐛ )و
添え物のお吸い物とカブの漬物も品がよいし、なんなら必要な方にはご飯おかわりサービスという街の定食屋のようなおまけまで。
母がポツリ「ここでこんなに美味しい鰻食べれるなら、もう柳川まで行く必要ないわよね。」
