Kisai Shokuryaku [a:40015226,Shunsai], 4-4-13 Kurosaki, Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu City. A Japanese-style Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) on the 1st floor of Town Building Kurosaki. 7 minutes walk from JR Kurosaki Station. 30 seats. No parking lot, coin parking next door. Business hours 18:00-24:00 (LO 23:00). Closed on Sundays. For a la carte, the seat fee is 324 yen. Published in Michelin Guide 2014 Fukuoka Saga Special Edition, 1 Black Coubert. I visited a Japanese-style Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) for dinner that I had never visited before and was curious about. The restaurant, which focuses on orthodox Japanese Japanese-style meal and whose menu ranges from Western Cuisine to noodle dishes, is located at the end of a radial road that spreads out from Kurosaki Station. I made a last minute reservation and entered the store. The entrance is an L-shaped counter surrounding the kitchen. You can see fresh fish in the showcase. There is a tatami room in the back with 3 to 4 tables. At dusk on weekdays, the number of customers is about 50%. I decided to sit at the counter and order a single item. BGM is jazz. The sound of wind chimes ringing in the air from the air conditioner. The store is well-air conditioned. Three appetizers served on a tray. While enjoying a draft beer, we looked through the extensive menu. <From the meal menu> ◆Live mackerel 1500 yen (half) ◆Sardine 700 yen (half) If you choose live mackerel from the sashimi menu, the hostess will tell you that red sardine is also good. They asked me if I could mix it up, so I did. I thought it was one plate, but it was in separate glassware. The freshness is perfect. ◆Rock oysters (Miyazaki) 1,500 yen It's been a while since we had so many Oyster during the winter. I found rock Oyster on the menu and ordered them. The shell is larger than the size of your palm. It's served on a platter. Large rock Oyster from Miyazaki. The body is cut into 5 pieces. It's about the size of five regular Oyster. Milky texture. This is the main topic today. ◆Wakamatsu Tomato and Cream Cheese 700 yen Local brand tomato and cream cheese. It's a restaurant that also has wine, so I had beer or sake that would go well with that. ◆Handmade Croquette 600 yen I also wanted to try fried foods. Three straw-shaped strawberries are lined up and covered with sauce. It's filled with cheese and is piping hot, so when you break it, it comes out thick. ◆Water Crab Cream Pasta 1200 yen I'm curious about Western Cuisine at Japanese-style meal restaurant. It's as delicious as any pasta restaurant. Decorate your nails with dried sardines. You can eat it with chopsticks. ◆Hand-made soba 700 yen This is a delicious dish that cannot be underestimated. Your husband can really make anything. It has a Kyushu-like tsuyu that is not as strong as Kanto. You can even drink it as is. It is thinner when diluted with soba-yu. But soba-yu is included. Smooth soba soup. It's good to have it as is. <From the drink menu> ◆Draft beer (Sapporo) 400 yen The draft beer was Sapporo. ◆Summer Kanhokuto 700 yen Kanhokuto's summer sake. Dry Junmai shi-bi-en Refreshingly dry +7. A crisp, refreshing and elegant scent. ◆Nabeshima 600 yen Glass of sake. It's a generous amount. It's about 1.5 times more expensive than other stores at the same price. Toward the end of the meal, the owner, who had calmed down, asked with a grin, "Did you finish your meal?" Of course! I received every bit of soba soup. The owner of the restaurant buys as much fresh fish as possible from the wild every day. It's best to ask the restaurant for recommendations that change depending on the day. There are always around 20 brands of shochu and around 15 brands of sake. From glasses to bottles of wine. It goes well with cooking. To end the meal, the handmade soba noodles and battera are popular. When I left the store, I received a drink ticket. It has an expiry date of about one month, and you can get draft beer and soft drinks. I felt that the range of cuisine and atmosphere was similar to [a:40015028,Uoshin] in Migamori.
