18:30 Arrived at [Shokusai Chihiro] where I had made a reservation. Well, it's next door to Gyoza Izumi, where I used to eat often. The stylish peppermint green exterior looks more like a cafe than a Japanese-style meal Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) ♪ We were offered seats under a sunken kotatsu on the first floor, but we were asked to change to table seats for the second time. The impressive pictograms written on the wall are interesting. ●Assortment of homemade tokozuke ●Assortment of three types of sashimi ●Assortment of tempura ●Mulberry-grilled domestic chicken - served with seasonal vegetables - Order the above. The sakes are Hakkaisan (honjozo: Niigata) and Suigei (junmai ginjo). Suigei has a bit of a habit. Grilled eggplant served with an overhang. It has an elegant taste and is very delicious! All the dishes were carefully prepared and all delicious. It seems that the shop is run by a husband and wife (?). The wife does the cooking, and the husband cooks and serves the customers. He was a very nice host. This is a time when it is usually crowded with customers. Maybe it's because it's this time of year, but we were the only customers.
