Orio, Kitakyushu City, has a historical atmosphere centered around the Horikawa Canal. A 2-minute walk from Orio Station, [Sumiyakian Toriko] is located in a corner lined with long-established restaur
...ants. The interior of the restaurant, which is a former Japanese restaurant that has been renovated, is a modern, Japanese-style, relaxing space with tatami mats. Our homemade sauce, which has been tested through trial and error, brings out the maximum flavor of the chicken. The ``creative skewers'' are slowly grilled in front of you at the counter and come with around 80 different toppings, including wasabi mayonnaise and grated ponzu sauce. You can enjoy a different taste every time you visit. There are also plenty of side menus such as ``Toriko salad'' and ``Pig's feet.'' The store, where young staff move around energetically, is crowded with people of all ages and genders, including office workers on their way home from work and groups of women.
