[Private rooms available for 2 or more people] Enjoy creative kaiseki cuisine made with plenty of local ingredients.
We will prepare creative banquet cuisine using plenty of local ingredients, including vegetables picked in the fields right in front of us. The lunch menu of the famous "Seven Stars" was also created |
Saturday lunch. Today, while on a carefree drive, we stopped by Nonoan, Japanese-style meal located on the grounds of Budo no Ki in Okagaki, which we had been interested in for a while. The restaurant was crowded, but fortunately there was a seat available, so we were able to sit down right away. This restaurant is part of the Budo no Ki group, which is not only local but also operates in neighboring areas, specializing in food and luxury, so we had high expectations. We started off by ordering the luxury lunch, which is the most reasonable and basic menu for adults. I think they probably add a lot of things to this to make it a course, but we were more than satisfied with just the lunch ・:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+ First of all, it was quick! Small dish dishes were brought to us within about two minutes of ordering lunch. The appetizers and hors d'oeuvres were cold, but they were perfectly matched with cheese-flavored tofu with a gelatinous sauce, white fish terrine, sweet bean paste ganmodoki, and sawara nanban. All were elegant. The cheese-flavored tofu has a light flavor of fluffy soy milk and cheese, and the texture of the soft gelatin is pleasant. The chewy terrine has a wonderful light dashi flavor that brings out the flavor of the minced fish. Next, sashimi, chawanmushi with thick sauce, and pork hot pot are served at a good pace. The beautiful presentation of the sashimi and the exquisitely thick chawanmushi are also a delight. At the staff's request in between, we enjoyed the soy milk hot pot, which was just about done, with the original thick yuzu ponzu sauce. Delicious! Inside was some freeze-dried tofu, which is not usually included in hot pots, and this helped to bring out the richness of the flavor. At the end, it soaked up the dashi well and was very juicy. I was pretty full by this point, but from here we had soft-boiled pork with potato sauce and eggplant, rice with bamboo shoots and eggs, flying fish dashi soup, and dessert. The tender pork is braised in a Japanese-Western style, and the potato sauce is uniquely accented by the rough texture of the potatoes, making it a novel dish. Desserts include warabimochi (bracken-stuffed rice cake) with purple sweet potato paste and matcha roll cake. It's a visual treat as well. At the table next to us, the children's kaiseki course was presented in tiers, adorned with balloons, and the visual presentation was eye-catching. Even though it was not evening, having this much kaiseki-style lunch was certainly luxurious. It's no wonder that there are many customers around who have made reservations for weddings and other celebrations. Not only do they serve standard dishes, but the arrangements are also wonderful and it's a treat for the eyes, so I think it's a wonderful restaurant that I'd like to introduce to someone. Thank you for the meal (^人^)
