A while ago, I was looking for the location of "Kurume Daisen" and found this shop by chance. I've known the name for a while, but here it is! I was checking. So, today, I parked my beloved car "Lonesome George", which has been revived for the first time in two weeks, in the joint parking lot, with my favorite "Kozuma" next to me, and I was tempted by "Daisen"'s pork cutlet fair and cutlet curry. I went to ``Kinohana'' in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Ah, it's pronounced "Tokinohana". This is a restaurant with a bit of atmosphere, and the lunch menu is displayed at the front of the store. Lunch at a restaurant that promotes Japanese Cuisine is a little cheaper than I expected, with lunchtime kaiseki meals starting from 1,600 yen (tax included) for three options. When you enter the restaurant, it's a small building with three tables and a view of the kitchen in the back. The second and third floors seem to be the main guest rooms, so although it's not noisy, you can feel the presence of people. It was a little after 12:30pm when the host came out of the kitchen and politely guided us to our table. Just by their demeanor at that time, I was convinced that this was the type of shop I liked. d(^-^) The host explained to me about the lunch menu, but since it had already been decided, I didn't have to worry about it and ordered the lunch kaiseki meal for 1,600 yen. The lady in charge of the hall brought tea and towels from the second floor. As expected, the main rooms are on the upper floor. After about 15 minutes, the dishes are lined up all at once. Maybe one item? That's what I thought, but it doesn't matter at all, it's not kaiseki, it's kaiseki. It's more flashy and luxurious when it's spread out (lol). It sounds sloppy when I say it, but in reality, they laid it out while explaining that it was an appetizer and that it was sashimi. There are 5 kinds of appetizers, Shiraae, Potato Salad, and I don't understand the boiled rice. I still don't understand this, Unohana dango with edamame? . At first glance, it looks like an egg roll, but is it squid? White meat? Grilled food with a high ratio of surimi? σ(^_^;)? At my level, it's even doubtful whether it's grilled or steamed. The Shiraae tastes like a true Japanese Cuisine, and I want to eat it in a bowl (lol). The salad has a Japanese-style dressing with a soy sauce base, and it's delicious. The sashimi that is not on the menu is tuna and squidfish, both of which are delicious. The pumpkin bun was injected with richly flavored minced meat. The bean paste sprinkled with greens is elegant and makes for a stunning dish. The grilled Japanese sword fish is beautifully grated, grilled to a fragrant aroma, and garnished with vinegared lotus, vinegared citrus combs, and Nanten leaves, without cutting corners. Was the chawanmushi Nanzenjimushi? This is the second restaurant I've been served this with sesame tofu. Your tastes may differ, but this rare chawanmushi is delicious. Next, the rice and soup, the pickled vegetables, and the thinly sliced white daikon radish, the key is to make it thin. For some reason, there's Noritama-style furikake on rice? I don't need this. Ah, that was delicious, I thought, but they said there were still desserts and drinks available, and I was told that I could choose from several drinks, so I chose grapefruit juice. For dessert, matcha mousse and melon are enough. I'm satisfied. I should have come sooner. Thank you for the meal. My happiness was here. PS Do you come to the store by car when paying? I was shocked. In addition to the change, I was given something wrapped in chiyogami paper. It was a heart-warming hospitality.
