In 1952, in Kurume, the birthplace of tonkotsu Ramen, there was a food stall that served the ultimate Ramen without any compromise. That was Seiyoken. Although the store closed its doors once, it was revived in Suwano-cho, Kurume City in May 2009 with the support of passionate fans. Since its founding, its timeless taste has continued to attract many fans, both past and present.

Seiyoken's specialty, which has received a lot of attention from various media and is ordered by 60% of customers! Onions, kamaboko, and pork chops chopped smaller than grains of rice are intertwined with fluffy eggs and finished with a secret ``moto sauce'', making this the perfect `` Ramen shop grilled meal''! The traditional technique unique to Kurume, which has been passed down since ancient times, is the ``Tsujijishi method'', in which new soup is added as much as it is used. At Seiyoken, it takes three days to make the soup, which is more than three times longer than regular Hakata Ramen. This level of thoroughness is unique among Ramen shops in Kurume, where the traditional method of making ramen is by adding new ingredients. This is the commitment of Koji Ichiki, the second generation of Seiyoken, as a craftsman.
