朝倉市の国道386号線沿いにある、地元感溢れる食堂です。
ローカルエリアにあるので、広い駐車場もあり、レトロながらも大箱のお店です。
この駐車場もすぐ満車になる位なので、人気店であることがうかがえます。
看板には『お食事処』とあり、定食・丼・麺類などのメニューがありますが、
一品料理も色々あって、居酒屋としても利用価値大です。
メニューの中で名物と銘打ってあるのが、『ちゃんぽん』『焼きめし』『ホルモン』です。
朝倉・甘木エリアは、昔から食肉用の馬の生産が盛んな地であったことから、
『ホルモン』と言えば、馬のホルモンを指すのが一般的です。
濃い味のタレで絡めた焼きホルモンは、地元グルメとして有名。
馬モツ料理で有名なお店は他にもあるのですが、
こちらは他にも食堂メニューが色々ある点でオススメと思います。
他のお客さんの注文を聞いていたら、『ちゃんぽん』が一番多かったでしょうか。
訪問時はオープン直後でしたが、駐車場は既にいっぱい。
名物の『ホルモン定食』850円・一番人気の『ちゃんぽん』700円を頂きました。
ホルモン定食は、『馬ホルモン』『豚ホルモン』から選択できます。
数量限定の『馬ホルモン』をお願いしました。
大盛りご飯に味噌汁・小鉢・お漬物が付いています。
脂肪分が少なく、心地よい弾力がある馬ホルモン。
中濃ソースベースの懐かしい味付けは、白ご飯が進む美味しさです。
ちゃんぽんも具材が多く美味しかったです。
人気のナンバーワンもうなずけます。
2番人気の『焼きめし』も気になるところです♪
