I tried this restaurant for lunch on weekdays, which is just a 5-minute walk from JR Nishi-Gifu Station. Actually, I was aiming for lunch at Nagahama, which is nearby, but unfortunately it was full, so I ended up visiting this restaurant, which was my second choice. There were about 8 counter seats and table seats inside the restaurant, and although it was crowded and almost full, I was able to sit at a vacant seat. The lunch menu includes set meals of Ten-don (tempura rice bowl) and Tempura bowls, fish dishes such as Seafood Bowl and tuna bowl, and slightly more expensive gozen dishes, with prices ranging from 650 yen to 2,160 yen including tax. What I received was an assortment of shrimp and conger Tempura tempura.Both the set meal and the bowl were the same price, but this time I ordered the bowl. The oil for Tempura tempura is a blend of three types of high-quality oil, so you can feel that they are very particular about it. The Tempura has a light finish and a faint sesame flavor, which makes it quite good. The shrimp aren't that big, but they're springy and plump, and the carrots are sweet and delicious. In addition, the thick, sweet and spicy seasoned rice bowl soup was perfect for my tastes and was very delicious. It's a place I don't often come to, but if I have the chance, I'd like to use it for the evening session. Thank you for the meal.
