Gifu City. Soba for lunch. Not bad. Yesterday, everyone around me was talking about soba. Just right. I sat at a counter seat in the lively restaurant and ordered. ★Daily lunch 950 yen For this price, in addition to soba, you get inari (or rice), a side dish, salad, and dessert. It's a good deal. I could have had kakesoba, but I chose zaru soba. I stared at the gloss of the round soba. I dipped it in the sauce and slurped it down vigorously. I'm sorry that the only word I have for udon and soba is "firmness," but I thought it was firm enough to be described as firm. It was firm and easy to eat. I also had a bite of the inari sushi. I also had a bite of the white fish fry, which was the dish of the day. I couldn't tell which was the side dish and which was the main dish, but I ate it thinking of it as a side dish to go with the soba. The dessert was a white mousse or pudding, or something like that. It seemed homemade. It was plainly delicious. I also had some soba soup, which I poured into the broth and drank. I was a little unsure if this was the right way to drink it, but it was clear that it was a satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal.
