I stayed at a hotel near Kani Station, and was guided here by my agent and a client I knew. From the outside, it looked like a hotel with blue lights and spotlights. The inside was a little darker, and had a stylish feel, with Restaurants-like tables and chairs. Clients sometimes use it for family meals. It doesn't look like Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) to me... Ah, the name of the restaurant is "Izakaya (Japanese-style bar)"... First, I ordered the 2-hour all-you-can-drink for 1,800 yen, and toasted with draft beer! The appetizer was amazing! A big boiled radish. It was about the size of a 350ml can of beer (lol) Is it a local seasoning? It's bright brown - maybe Hatcho miso? These surprises might be the best part of drinking in another prefecture. The snacks were a bargain!! Chicken karaage, green onion and salt chicken zommai, french fries... Salad, tofu, and more... It was pretty tasty, and the female staff was very friendly and the drinks were served quickly, which was nice. With this atmosphere and menu, I thought it would definitely be a good restaurant for families or dates.
