3 minutes walk from Takasaki Station on the JR Takasaki Line. At "Kaisen Ichiba Seafood" you can enjoy sashimi made with fresh seafood procured that day, Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) classic Creative |
I visited on a holiday morning. The restaurant is located about 200m straight ahead from the rotary at the west exit of Takasaki Station, on the right. Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) attached to the first floor of Central Hotel Takasaki. I stayed at this hotel from yesterday, so I used it for breakfast. Breakfast is included in the room rate (a breakfast ticket is given at check-in). Breakfast starts at 6:30. When I got off the elevator at that time, the OPEN sign was already hanging on the door. This is great. Some people had already started eating when I entered the restaurant. The restaurant has table seats and tatami-floored raised seats. The ratio is about 1:2. Both seats are for 4 people. Since the main customers are single customers, you have to share a table (especially the table seats). The staff are dedicated to serving and clearing the dishes, and do not guide you to a seat. Place your drink on the raised seats to secure a seat. After that, line up for All-you-can-eat buffet. Take a half-moon shaped tray and place a plate divided into three sections on it. First, rice. There are bowls, but I put it on the plate. There doesn't seem to be many side dishes. Next, miso soup. I put the fried tofu and wakame seaweed in the bowl and pressed the button on the server. For the side dishes, I put scrambled eggs, grilled mackerel and macaroni salad on my plate. Then, natto and seasoned seaweed. I didn't take any, but there were meatballs, lettuce, pickles and raw eggs. I returned to my seat. Yes, the rice, miso soup and natto were quite tasty. The natto in particular was at room temperature and plump. For the side dishes, the scrambled eggs were lightly salted, which was interesting. Other than that, nothing special. I always look forward to breakfast at business hotels. I'm classic when the breakfast is included in the price of the accommodation (sometimes referred to as free breakfast) like here and the content is not substantial. I think it's best to charge a separate fee. Unlike major hotel chains, I think it's more difficult when outsourcing.
