I was able to visit Yatai-ya for the first time. It was always fully booked, but it was just about safe. We visited with a group of 7 people and were shown to the second floor, where we were essentially able to use a private room. Thank you! I ordered the 8800 yen course. Simmered dish bamboo shoots and Japanese pepper leaves were delicious, but by far the most delicious was the Spanish mackerel sashimi! Thickly sliced Spanish mackerel was smoked with straw to give it its aroma. When you put it in your mouth, the melty Spanish mackerel fills your mouth with its aroma. The drinks were plentiful and reasonably priced. Thank you for the meal ^_^
