牛ステーキ丼（800円）
ランチで訪問。入り口で靴を脱いで厨房と向かい合わせのカウンター席に座りメニューを確認。日替り定食でいいですか？との店員さんの問いかけに対し、表の立て看板に記載されていた牛ステーキ丼が気になっていため、オススメを振り切って牛ステーキ丼をお願いする。ちなみに本日の日替りは油淋鶏と鯖の塩焼きの２種類でどちらも捨てがたいラインナップ。
しばらくして、サラダ、茄子の揚げ浸し、香の物、味噌汁のセットとともに到着。見るからにバランスが良さそう。
ミディアムレアに焼かれたステーキは、表面はカリッとして香ばしく、中はしっとりして柔らかく、食感のコントラストを楽しめるのと同時に、ジューシーな旨味が味わえる。おろしダレの和風ソースとの合わせも良く、この味わいで800円はあり得ない程のクオリティーでもの凄くおいしい。
少し残念なのは、丼のコメが柔らかすぎてステーキとミスマッチしている点。
茄子の揚げ浸しは、味の染み込みが抜群で程よい食感でとてもおいしく、トータルのクオリティーとコスパは高くとても満足。
