若鶏の甘辛唐揚げ（750円）
ランチで訪問。趣のある木製の階段を上り店舗のある２階へ。引き戸に付いている巨大な鉄の輪っかを持って扉を開けようとするも、重くて片手ではビクともしない。両手でやっと開けてテーブル席に着席。
２種類ある日替り定食の中から若鶏の甘辛唐揚げをオーダー。もうひとつは塩サバの焼魚定食。
定食は唐揚げをメインに、アジの南蛮漬けとポテトサラダの小鉢２種類、ご飯、味噌汁、漬け物のラインナップ。
唐揚げは照りがあって見るからにおいしそうで、ひと口頬張ると皮目のパリッとした食感とともに若鶏モモ肉の柔らかでジューシーな味わいが広がる。甘辛ということだが、辛味はあまり感じられないもののほんのり甘味のある濃厚な旨味があり、小振りながらこの唐揚げひとつでご飯一膳いけそうなくらい濃い味わいで堪らなく旨い。
アジの南蛮漬けは酸味が効いていて旨く、ポテトサラダはご飯との相性が抜群。小鉢のどちらとも旨くポイント高い。
バランスが良くおいしい定食だが、座席でタバコが吸えてしまうのが残念。
