Sarugaraku is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located in Otemachi, Hiroshima. This is my first business trip to Hiroshima in a year and a half, and in the evening I had drinks with local members. It is said to be a popular restaurant with a rich menu among locals. It's a raw start, and the appetizer is quite gorgeous. Tomatoes wrapped in Prosciutto, potato salad, and shrimp chili are all you need for a small meal. Next was Hiroshima's specialty, Gansu (fried fish paste) and grilled oysters. Pair with Hiroshima local sake ``Seikagami''. According to locals, ``The gansu here has a fluffy and elegant feel.'' Since I don't know the source, I accepted it without any preconceptions. Grilled oysters feature large Oyster in their shells. This style is served with ponzu sauce. It's delicious, it's cooked well. If anything, it has a steamed-grilled texture. I received 3 pieces. Other must-try dishes include bamboo Tempura and grilled mackerel. The cost performance is very good as the cost for 3 people was less than 10,000 yen after eating and drinking this much. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
