This was one of my favorite restaurants when I lived in Hiroshima. Hoshi Fuchuyaki I like it better than Kansai style, Hiroshima style, Mitsuhamayaki, and any other Okonomiyaki. I like Fuchuyaki itself, and I order it when I find it at other restaurants. But this time, when I ate it at Toshinoya, I thought again. Toshinoya's Fuchuyaki is the best!! Fuchuyaki is Okonomiyaki made with plenty of cabbage and minced meat without using bean sprouts, and Toshinoya offers two unique types of Fuchuyaki, black and white. I always order the black one. The crispy one. The white one is soft, but I don't remember ordering it. And I order the seared green onion mayo. This time, I visited the Mitsumachi store, which I used to go to often in the past. I'm sorry that we were three grown men and only ordered Fuchuyaki without drinks, but we spent a long time comfortably. Since it was a food tour, we couldn't eat a lot... I'll visit again next time with other people!
