福山駅の「さんすて」に入っている飲食店ですが、年末年始ということもあってアイドルタイムながら1時間近く並んで入店しました。
福山市をあげて「福つまみ」として酒のアテになるものをPRされていましたが、その中から「ちーいか天」を食べたいと思って伺いましたが、これがなかなかヒットでした。
とても小ぶりなイカをまとめて、醤油系の味を染み込ませてしっかり揚げたものでしたが、スナック感覚で手が止まらなくなりました。アテとしてはビールにぴったりと思います。
また、同じくあてとして注文したねぶとの唐揚げも福山名物ですが、こちらはからっと塩味の小魚の天ぷらでした。どちらも他の町では見たことのないメニューなので、旅の途中の酒のアテに良いと思います。
