Recently, we often go to Fukuyama for lunch on Saturdays due to personal reasons. On this day, we were shopping at a nearby department store, so we stopped by the nearby "Tsurube" for lunch. (We've been here a few times at night to drink alcohol.) There are about four lunch set menus posted at the entrance, but the homemade tofu lunch with seasonal vegetables and the Tsurube set (Kana) are already sold out. Both are limited to 15 servings, so the competition seems fierce lol. So we ordered the Hanagogo set and the special sirloin Steak set. The inside of the restaurant has an open ceiling, making it feel like an old house. The thick, large pillars are the color of the ink of the hearth, giving it a slightly dark impression. It looks very nice at night. That said, even during the day, the large windows give it a fairly bright impression. There were quite a few families with small children. The Hanagogo set meal consisted of rice, miso soup, three kinds of sashimi, Tempura, Simmered dish, chawanmushi, and their proud homemade tofu! We were given a special plate of homemade tofu with each meal. It certainly was a taste worthy of boasting. We ate it with Okinawa salt. Mmm, this makes me want to drink some sake. On the other hand, the sirloin. Big. Tender. In other words, delicious... It came with a fair amount of vegetables too, so we were full. The beef was quite thick, and medium cooked inside. And the seasoning went really well with rice too. Aaah, we ate a lot. Thank you for the meal!!! Let's go again!
