[b:Takahashi] in Hiro has been known for its delicious food and great fish. I didn't have many opportunities to drink in Hiro, so I hadn't visited, but today I was able to take a bus and came here (* ̄∀ ̄) I entered the store around 6 o'clock. Although it is a weekday, there are quite a few customers. There are tatami rooms and some groups are already thriving. Apparently, even the empty tatami rooms are booked, and despite the coronavirus pandemic, the restaurant is a success that is the envy of other restaurants. I didn't make a reservation, but they prepared a seat for me at the end of the counter. Thank you to the beautiful customers who packed the seats (* ̄∀ ̄) First of all, I'm Tribby. The appetizer is Tokoroten. I had it for the first time this year, but it's delicious when I eat it once in a while. It was a hot day after the end of the rainy season, so I felt a sense of coolness. Today's recommendations are written on the whiteboard. I was looking forward to it because it has a reputation for good fish, but today's favorites were sea bream, small sardines, and horse mackerel. The taste of Setouchi is just as good, but you can eat it anytime around here, so I'd like to try something else if possible. If you look closely, you'll see in the middle section that it says ``raw whitebait caught in the morning (weekdays only)''. This really piques my interest. Yeah, I decided on this one. We Other ordered ``deep-fried local shrimp'' from today's recommendation, and ``bamboo grilled chicken meatballs'' from the restaurant's standard menu. First of all, it's ``raw whitebait caught in the morning.'' This is the first time I've eaten something so fresh. I used to live in Shizuoka City, so I often ate Suruga Bay's specialty raw whitebait both at home and at restaurants, but I've never tasted anything this delicious. It is usually eaten with ginger soy sauce, but at this restaurant, it is served with ice-cold soup stock. That’s super delicious! If you think about it, Kure and Ondo are major production areas for whitebait (here we call it chirimen). The fried local shrimp is really well fried. Kakiage with a high shrimp content is delicious! Bamboo grilled chicken meatballs is literally a piece of bamboo that has been split in half, stuffed with chicken meatballs and then grilled. The surface is coated with a sweet and spicy sauce. This is delicious, too. It's more like Hamburg, but it tastes exactly like a meatball. Well, this is good too. The second cup was a highball, and the third was a carbonated barley shochu. The total cost was 4,400 yen including tax. Considering the contents, this is cheap! The customer service is good and I have no complaints. They have a wide selection of sake, but they only come in 300ml bottles. It would be great if I could order one cup at a time, but that's all I have to complain about. As rumored, it was a great store. The return visit rate is 100% (* ̄∀ ̄)

[b:Takahashi] is reputed to be the best restaurant in Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) and kappo category in the Hiro area of Kure City. It's been a long time since I visited as a big drinker. It's a popular restaurant, so I made a reservation by phone. It was right after it opened, so I was the first one there. (* ̄∀ ̄) Of course, draft beer ♪ The appetizer was octopus and [b: pickled young Vinegared dish]. This restaurant specializes in fresh fish, so I'd like to try the sashimi. Today's recommendation is ``Katsukuri bald fish''. It looks delicious, but it's too big for one person. ( ̄▽ ̄;) As I was thinking about it, the owner said, ``We also have smaller ones, so let's take a look,'' and he found the smallest one from the tank and scooped it out for me. This is the perfect amount for one person to eat. Delicious when eaten with ponzu sauce. I'm a small bald guy, so my liver is small, but I guess that can't be helped. The second glass is Hirezake. It's super hot. ( ̄▽ ̄;) But fillet sake tastes better when it's hot. The second item is [b: Young Tempura]. Fresh and really soft. This is very delicious! (;゚∀゚;) The third drink was bottled beer. The third item is [b: grilled Hiroshima red chicken]. This is also good~ Large cut meat seasoned with salt and pepper. It's nicely grilled, with some crispy parts and some chewy parts. It has a nice chewy texture that broilers don't have. This is also delicious. Total cost: 5,390 yen. The food is delicious and reasonably priced considering the quality.
