瀬戸内海に浮かぶウサギが人気の島「大久野島」において、飲食店はおそらく2軒しかない様子。
その2軒とも休暇村大久野島のホテル内にあり、ホテル1階の左手にカフェ、そして右手にこのレストランがあります。
ホテル宿泊者の朝食会場にもなるレストランのようで、大きいガス窓から光がよく入ります。
上品な雰囲気に4人用や6人用テーブル席があり、家族連れなどグループで利用する方が多い印象。
ランチメニューは選択肢が6種類程度と少なめで、カキフライやタコの定食にシーフードカレーなど。
お酒は広島県の日本酒をはじめとして色々とそろっています。
●たこよくばり定食（税込1,630円）
瀬戸内海で定番のタコを色々な食べ方で楽しめる御膳。
・タコ飯 … ご飯自体に味がしっかりついてるのとタコの食感も良くて美味しい
・タコの香り揚げ … 居酒屋っぽさを感じるカラッと香ばしい衣のタコ唐揚げ
・タコとカンパチの刺身 … かなり小さくて味もそこそこですが楽しめる刺身
タコわさびも付いていて美味しいですが、もう少しタコの量を充実させてほしい気はします。
●瀬戸田レモンチューハイ
お土産でも売られている瀬戸田レモンチューハイに、氷入りグラスも出してくれてスッキリ飲めるレモンチューハイ。
果肉が溶け込んでおりスッキリとしつつも濃いめでしっかり楽しめるチューハイとなっています。
大久野島はじっくり回ると1日かかるので、日帰りで来訪するのであればこのレストランでお昼がオススメです。
