特選五貫にぎり、塩水うに、かんぴょう巻き（わさび入り）
北海道に住んでいた時には、２軒目か３軒目としてよく伺っていました。チェーン店なのでレビューを書いていませんでしたが、思うところがあり１ヶ月半前のレビューを書きたいと思います。
８月の日曜日の２０時半ちょっと前に２軒目として訪問、１人待ちでした。１０分程待ってからカウンター席に着席。緑茶ハイ、期間限定の夏得市 特選五貫にぎり、塩水うに４貫をお願いしました。８月の下旬なので塩水うにがあるか不安でしたが、あって良かったです。
特選五貫にぎりは大とろ、中とろ、赤身、あぶりとろ、ねぎとろのセット、夏得市ということで税抜き1,280円と大変おトクな値段です。メニューに記載してあったような極上と言うほどではありませんでしたが、大ぶりの本まぐろには十分満足できました。
塩水のムラサキうには税抜きで一貫550円。繁華街なのにこのレベルの塩水うにをこの値段で出してくれるのはありがたいです。お盆に訪問した知り合いの岩手の寿司屋さんはもう少し高い値付けでした。シーズンの最終盤ですが、今年のうにの食べ納めとして大満足でした。
締めはかんぴょう巻き、わさびを入れてもらいます。北海道ではかんぴょう巻きがないことがあるのですが、すしざんまいさんには置いてあるので、ありがたいです。
チェーン店としての良心的な価格設定、豊富なメニュー、ていねいな接客はもちろんのこと、全般的に値段以上においしいネタを味わえます。さすが北海道だなぁと思います。北海道に住んでいた時に１軒目としてよく利用していたお寿司屋さんはラフィラの近くの老舗でしたが、１番利用した回数が多かったのはこちらのお店でした。
また来年の夏に塩水うにをいただきに参ります。今回もおいしいお寿司をありがとうございました。
最後に…
一部の方のレビューにこちらのうにがまずいと書いてあるのを拝見しました。普通にうにと頼むとミョウバンうにが出てきますので必ず「塩水うに」があるかをか確認することをおすすめします。それと、もちろんうににも旬がありますので、その時期に注文してみてください。そうすれば、まずいなんてことにはならないと思います。偉そうなことを申してすみません。

Visited as the 10th restaurant on the 2024 winter Sapporo food tour and the 3rd restaurant on Saturday night. When I was working alone in Hokkaido, Sushizanmai Susukino was my 2nd or 3rd restaurant, and I used to visit it occasionally. We arrived at around 23:45 and were immediately guided to a counter seat. After looking at the menu, I ordered draft beer @ 748 yen, horse mackerel @ 217 yen, salmon roe @ 437 yen, sea urchin @ 1,408 yen, kanpyo roll @ 330 yen, and finest bluefin tuna five piece nigiri @ 1,738 yen, for a total of 4,878 yen. I think the season for sea urchin is summer, but in Hokkaido each area has a designated fishing season, so sea urchin from this time of year might still be delicious. I thought about this in my drunken mind, and ordered it after confirming that it was salted sea urchin, not alum, but when I thought about it again, it was way too expensive. When I checked the price three and a half years ago, it was 550 yen, so it's almost triple the price. Unfortunately, the sea urchin wasn't very good. It can't be helped because it's not in season. Ikura was good. The Kanpyo rolls were made with wasabi. The finest bluefin tuna 5-piece nigiri consists of large fatty tuna, medium fatty tuna, red fatty tuna, grilled fatty tuna, and green tuna. I was grateful that the sushi rice was small. The third dinner was too much. Next time, I would like to visit in early summer in perfect condition. Thank you for the meal.
