出張中ですが、今日は日曜日。せっかく札幌にいるので洒落た場所で美味しい珈琲が飲みたくなり、食べログチェック。
円山公園の近くの住宅街に民家を改装したお洒落なカフェ、「森彦」さんを見つけ、開店時間の朝10時を目掛け、訪問すると、すでに黒山の人だかり。皆さん考えることは同じです。
ウェイティングボードに名前を書き待ちます。冬の札幌の朝は寒いかなと思いましたが、昨日とは違い心地よい寒さ。昔、冬のパリの公園を朝散策したのを思い出しました。
それでも、30分弱で店内の2階の窓側席に案内されました。辺りを見渡せる特等席です。
メニューを見てお目当ての珈琲は、深煎りローストの「森の雫」にしました。おすすめ珈琲でした。珈琲だけでは、口元が寂しいので、朝からとも思いつつケーキを注文。目に留まったのが、「洋梨と珈琲のタルト」。これも注文。
しばらくして香ばしいいい香りの珈琲とケーキが運ばれて来ました。
まず、珈琲から。本当ないい香り。一口含むと、爽やかな苦味が、感じられ、同時に仄かな酸味も。これは、美味い珈琲です。家では、同じ豆を挽いてもこの味は出せないと思います。ちょっぴりお値段は張りますが、期待通りの美味い珈琲です。
「洋梨と珈琲のタルト」も、柔らかに煮詰められた洋梨のスライスが、隠し味の珈琲に後押しされる上品な甘さ。これも美味い。珈琲にもよく合います。
混んでるので、あまり長居はしませんでしたが、日曜日の朝、たいへんハッピーな朝をすごせました。
そう言えば、今日はクリスマスイブ。関係ないか？
