見た目も味も、精神を落ち着かせる効果がある、
「京料理」という食文化は素晴らしいと思います。
私のタイトル（仮）のようなＪＲ東海さんの偽物ではなく、
料理人もお料理も本物に触れることができるのは日本人の特権です。
ちなみに「そうだ京都に行こう」という方もいますが、
ＪＲ東海さんのコピーを忠実にパクると
私のタイトルでいいのだと思います（笑）
北海道では自信をもってオススメできる京料理店のひとつです。
ここのお料理は個人の持つ味覚の違いの垣根をこえる上質なものです。
札幌の円山地区には他にも日本料理店がありますが、
お店の構え、品格、手軽な料金といい、一歩抜きん出ています。
周辺にある「とらや」さんとは趣向が違いますので、
そちらのお店のファンの方でも十分ご満足いただけると思います。
しかも地下鉄東西線・円山公園駅から1分かからない距離にあるのに、
とても閑静で落ち着いた場所です。

調理がとにかく丁寧で凝っています。
品書きが多いので、ここではちょっと紹介しきれませんが、
どれもしっかりと仕事を施した素晴らしい出来栄えですので、
なにを頼まれてもお店に任せて安心して利用できます。
懐石が何種類かありますので、
その中に含まれていないお料理を単品注文で加えて、
ゆったりとお食事するのがいいと思います。
ノドグロやサワラなど、
その他ちょっと変わった魚もその日によって入荷しています。
器もお料理を引き立てる重要な要素ですが、
ここは美しい盛り付け、適した量とともに合格点でした。
窓側の席から無駄のない作りの庭園が見えて、
お食事の合い間に眺めると、
お料理がさらにおいしく美しく感じるのは、
日本ならではの素晴らしい情景です。
冬場は窓側の席を避けることが多い私ですが、
ここは暖房がガラスの下ギリギリから出ていますので、
暖かく快適な食事ができます。

札幌という土地柄が関係しているのか、
あまりあちこちには置いていない、
キリンラガーの樽生があるというのも
味に対する姿勢が認められる点です。
私は未成年なのでお酒を飲むことなど絶対にありませんが、
樽生は管理が重要なので、
そのお店を知る上でビールを飲みたくないときでも
傍らに置くために一杯は頼むようにしています。
樽生が美味しいお店はお料理も美味しいという、
私なりの考えがあるのです。
自分で飲んだわけではありませんが、
グラスに触れただけでわかるほど温度も合格点。
あくまで黙視による判断ですが、
サーバーの洗浄は当然として鮮度も満足できるものでした。
私は単品で飲むなら絶対に副原料ナシのビールを求めますが、
日本料理に多い海鮮を使った料理に限ってなら、
ハートランド・エビス・サッポロクラシックやモルツなど、
麦芽とホップがメインのビールでは口に魚臭さが広がりますので、
副原料の米が入っていたほうが味覚が引き締まり、
お料理が美味しく感じられるので、
一番搾りやクラシックラガー、
サッポロラガーや黒ラベルに富士山の他、
ありふれていますがスーパードライなどのほうが
実は適していると思います。
ちなみに飲酒は20歳を過ぎてからです。
18歳の方はあと２年近く我慢しましょう。
今年19歳になる方は友桝飲料の
「こどもびいる」でも飲んで我慢しましょう。

おトイレもお店を知る上で重要な点です。
清潔なのはちろん絶対条件です。
このお店ではお香が焚かれており、
おしぼりが用意されていて、
傍らには「つくばい」が置いてある凝った造りでした。

接客は、何人かの従業員さんがいるのですが、
「接客とは、こうでなければ」と思える素晴らしい対応です。
そのなかには、なぜかその辺を歩いているコを急募して、
その場で採用したのではないかと思える方がいて、
本当に悪気なく料理の説明をしながら歩き出して去っていき、
説明が最後まで聞き取れません（笑）
しかし「あの･･･」と声を掛けると、
スグに戻ってくるという素直さです。
このような完璧に近いお店で、
この天然な対応にはホッとするものがあります。

様々な使い方が出来ます。
ここぞという時に頼れる札幌の優良な京料理店です。
