秋の札幌ツアーのカレー５軒目で訪問。
日曜日の11時45分に到着、先客は６人。空いていた４人がけテーブル席に案内されてメニューを拝見していると、新たなお客さんが１名来店。店員さんが申し訳なさそうに「相席良いでしょうか？」と尋ねてきたので「全然問題ないです。どうぞ。」と返答。この時の店員さんの応対がとても好印象でした。
事前に決めていたチキン@1,140円を辛さ12、ごはん50gでオーダー。
ごはんの量をあまり食べる気がないので、メニューに書いてあった「大人の少ないカレー」@950円がどのようなものか気になって尋ねたら「お子さまサイズ」とのこと。さすがにそれは頼もうとは思いませんでした。
待つこと９分でスープとターメリックライスが到着。ライスには玉ねぎ酢づけが添えられていました。
スープはかなり特徴的。クミンシードではなくフェンネルシードがメインのスパイス。初めに具のキクラゲをいただいた時にめっちゃフェンネルだったのでキクラゲをフェンネルシードと一緒に炒めているのかと思ったら、スープ全体にフェンネルシードが広がっていました。
それなりに辛口で酸味は強めです。具は半熟卵丸ごと１個、にんじん、水菜、キクラゲ、しめじ、じゃがいも、骨なしチキン。
具は少なめでチキンが骨なしなのが好印象。半熟卵はゆで卵だと思っていただいたので、トロトロの黄身が出てきたのは嬉しいサプライズ。
次回はドライカレー@1,150円をいただいてみようと思います。ごちそうさまでした。
