It's Sunday evening. I usually don't drink on Sundays to prepare for the week ahead. But on this day, I feel like drinking something. I also had some Tabelog exclusive T points available, so I decided to make an online reservation and use 2,500 yen worth of points. (There aren't many stores in Asahikawa where you can use T points...) This place has private room-style seating, which makes it feel calm. [b: "Standard all-you-can-drink"] (120 minutes, 1,098 yen). The appetizer (449 yen) was "edamame". Looking at the menu, even though it's a chain restaurant, the snacks seem to be quite expensive these days as the prices of ingredients continue to rise. First up is sashimi. [b: "Hokkaido Sankatsu Tsubu"] (911 yen)...The most expensive sashimi other than assorted sashimi. Normally I wouldn't order it here, but thinking I'd use my points, I took the plunge and ordered it (lol). The crunchy texture was quite good. The second drink I had was ``Sapporo Classic Barrel Draft''. It continues with "Beam Highball", "Bombei Gin Soda", and "Shochiku Bai Gokai (1 cup)" (lol) [b: "Beer Lover's Snack Salad"] (549 yen)...Slightly spicy finish hey. It's simple, but something like this might be delicious as a snack. [b: "Fried Cod from Hokkaido"] (504 yen)...The cod was thicker than I expected. It's a bit over fried though... Serve with tartar sauce or sauce. I had a light lunch that day, so I wanted to eat Onigiri... [b: "Onigiri (salmon)"] (251 yen) I could have gotten bancha, but since I had the opportunity, I drank the all-you-can-drink "green tea (warm)." I always thought I was writing a review of a drinking party with friends. I guess you didn't write it down. The restaurant I was writing about was ``Torinosuke,'' which had closed in Asahikawa.
