函館2泊目の夜、予約が取れていたこちらへ。
カウンターの静かな席にご案内いただいた。静か。
店には大将と若い板さんとお茶を出してくれる女性がひとり。カウンターの端には常連さんらしき男性がお一人。静かな始まりです。
せっかくの北海道なので、ビールはクラッシックを頼み、乾杯。全てお任せなので、苦手なものを聞かれ、私はなんでもござれ。
大将と若い板さんの呼吸もあって、タコから始まったツマミと寿司はタイミングよく出てきます。あまりに静かなので大将は無口なのかな？と思っていたのですが、連れと魚の話になると「その魚はですね、」と口上が始まりました。なるほど！
ちょいとした説明語りと寿司が交互に出てきて、いつしか日本酒も進みます。丁寧な仕事の寿司。美味しかった！
【函館鮨】
この前日に行った鮨屋とは全く好みが分かれるかと思います。こちらはあっさりとしたナチュラルな魚の旨みを引き出したつくりでした。函館の鮨は美味い！
