函館朝市エリアでも奥の方にあり、店頭で様々な食材を陳列し、ここでも小さいながらイカの生簀でイカ釣り体験が出来る。
活タラバガニの足がその場で安く食べられるのを売りにしているが、どの料理もエリア内では比較的安い。
私は知内産の牡蠣の皿に目をとめた。
大粒のものが6個も乗ってなんと1500円という破格値。
『焼きでも生でもどっちでも！』
しかしながら流石に一人でこのサイズのものを6個というのは多すぎる。
少々コスパは低めとなるが、3個1000円のものを生でいただいた。
いや、これが1000円というのも相当安い。
身はぷりぷりと分厚く、クサミなど一切なく新鮮極まれり。
海のミルクと言われる通りにクリーミーで甘味もある。
ポン酢も供されるがレモン汁を少し垂らして、という食べ方が一番。
奥まった場所にあるのでそんなに混雑していなかったし、お酒も用意されているのでそれこそ”海鮮居酒屋”として使うのも良さそうだ。
朝から新鮮な魚でビールなど最高な気分だろう。
