2009年７月のとある平日の正午前、妻、当時保育園児の娘と３人でランチのために訪問しました。
このときは、札幌の祖父母のところに行くため、羽田空港から飛行機で函館空港に降り立って函館で２泊し、そこからSL函館大沼号に乗って森まで来たのでした。
当時の娘は（今でも？）、外食で食べさせやすいものといえば麺類か丼ものだったので、あらかじめ調べておいてこのお店に決めたのでした。
このお店は、ＪＲ函館本線森駅を下車して徒歩すぐのところにあります。
店内はかなり広く、半個室のようなスペースがたくさんありました。
私が食したのは「八雲牛ステーキ丼」。肉がやわらかくてジューシーで最高でした。
タレもご飯によく合います。
ボリュームも文句なしで、コストパフォーマンスがかなり良いです。
北海道新幹線が開業すると「並行在来線」として函館本線はＪＲ北海道から経営分離されることとされ、ＳＬ函館大沼号もどうなることかわかりませんが、また森に来ることがあったらまたこのお店を訪問したいものです。
