2020/10 First visit to Otaru City. Tourists who come to Sapporo come to enjoy the historic scenery and food typical of a port town, as it is less than an hour away from Sapporo. There are so many Sushi restaurants in this town that there is a street called `` Sushi Street''. Perhaps because it is a tourist destination, many of the prices are out of my reach for someone like me who loves casual Sushi lunches. Meanwhile, when I was walking around the downtown area for lunch in the Hanazono district, I discovered two casual `` Seafood Bowl'' restaurants. I was having a hard time deciding which one to go in, but I was drawn to this store's signboard and decided to visit. I was strongly attracted by the signboard, ``Raw chirashi, Tempura, Small dish, and chawanmushi 800 yen''. ``Taro-san Course'' We were taken to a tatami room that was like a semi-private room. A nice tatami room for a night drinking party. Obon doesn't have to wait that long. eh. Isn't it `` Tempura''??? ``Raw chirashi'' Red meat probably drumstick tuna, Chilean salmon, shrimp, squid, and flying fish. Radish Tsuma and Gari. It's completely "shobby". At least there aren't any eggs. The vinegared rice was also cold and hard. Quite a disappointing award. ``Fried mackerel mackerel'' I can forgive it because it's piping hot and half-finished, but the sample is `` Tempura.'' If you're a mayor, you might want "tartare." A sauce was served with it. `` Small dish'' Simmered dish bamboo shoots, konnyaku, and fried vegetables. cold. ``Chawanmushi'' This is piping hot. I don't have many ingredients, but I have something like this. ``Pickles'' The sample looks like it's handmade, but it's probably for commercial use. "Miso soup" Very ordinary. (Perhaps the head of the eel is missing.) Well, I guess it can't be helped if it's 800 yen, but when I paid the bill, it was 880 yen. It's definitely tax-excluding. This is getting me excited. In the Otaru heavyweight review, it looked good at night, but since lunch is service, I guess it can't be helped. But if you call it ``Otaru cuisine'', the name ``Otaru'' might make you laugh.
